Do not touch the printer nozzle or print bed when they are heating up or printing.
Do not attempt to adjust your print while the print bed or nozzle is moving.
Prepare the Print Bed
Remove any excess filament from previous prints.
If the print bed has fingerprint marks or dirt, clean it an alcohol wipe before heating.
Check Printer Status
Ensure the "Fix me!" flag is not raised on the printer.
If the flag is raised, use another printer—do not attempt to fix it.
Load Your 3D Model
Slice your 3D model using the appropriate software.
Upload the sliced file in the G-code format to a USB stick and plug it into the right side of the 3D printer.
Start the Print
Check the photo shown on the 3D printer display and ensure it is the correct part.
Select Print on the printer’s interface.
Ensure the image displayed matches your intended print before proceeding.
Do Not Remove the Print Plate
Keep the print plate in place when removing your print.
Use a Spatula if Needed
If the print is difficult to remove, carefully use a spatula to lift it off the plate.
Remove Test Line
Peel off the test line from the front of the plate.
Dispose of Plastic Scraps
Throw any plastic scraps or failed prints into the garbage.
Failed Prints
If your print failed, consult with a teacher about the print settings you used, and raise the "Fix me!" flag if the print didn't fail due to improper setup.
