Arrival and Departure

As much as your child's first day of school will be exciting there may be some sad tears shed.

We advise you give a big hug, kiss and smile and return home. Staying with your child until the bell rings will make for more tears. 

We promise after 10 minutes of being inside, tears will go away. If for any reason we can not console your child we will give you a call. 

In the morning a staff member will be at the door of each bus and guiding the Kindergarten students to our kindergarten yard.  A DECE will be at the gate waiting for them. 

In the afternoon a kindergarten staff will walk each student to their bus.  

In the morning students will be dropped off at our kindergarten gate. A DECE will be there waiting for their arrival. Parents do not go into the yard, we don’t want students to become comfortable with non staff adults in the yard.

Supervision starts at 8:40 am.

In the afternoon your child will be released at their classroom door. Please wait for them outside of our yard. Once we have eye contact with you we will dismiss your child. 

Dismissal is at 3:25 pm.
