Question
What does my child need to know before school starts?
Answer
Before school starts recognizing name, letters, and numbers would be a great place to begin. Also, providing your child with opportunities to dress in outerwear independently (putting on shoes, sweaters, jackets, etc)

How can I get involved in the school community?
Answer
We welcome any and all to join our school community. At the moment you can participate in parent council and lunch time supervisor. Please contact Mr. Samson if you are interested.
Question
What items does my child need for the first day of kindergarten?
Answer
For the first day of school your child will need a pair of Velcro indoor shoes that are labeled, spare clothing which are labeled, and a backpack big enough to fit a binder which is labeled.

How and when would I know what class my child is in?
Answer
By the first week of September you will receive a letter in the mail stating which classroom your child will be in. Also in that letter will be a date and time you and your child will have an opportunity to come to the school for a 10 min visit to the classroom and meet the educators.

How and where can I sign my child up for the bus?
Answer
On the "Arrival and Departure" page of this website will be a transportation link that will bring you to the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board website to the transportation page.
