Before Çorum mobility:

1-The host school sent invitations and the schedule of the week to the participants to be able to get official permission.

2-The host school coordinator arranged and made reservations for the hotel that the teacher and students would stay during the mobility week

3-The participant country sent this information about guest students before mobility:

· the name of the participant

· gender

· age

· mobile phone number

· email addresses

· Special needs ?

· Permanent illness ?

· Any medication ?

· allergy?

· the names and the phone numbers of their parents

4- Host country should give information about the cost of the pre-arranged acitivities ( before the

mobility)

Minutes of the Turkey Meeting

This Short-term exchanges of groups of pupils event was designed having Turkey's specialty in mind. A total of 23 participants,6 teachers and 17 students attended the meeting. The aims of this visit is the inclusion of all students, emphasizing special areas for inclusion , eliminating gender and ethnicity.

On Monday, the groups went to the host school for Welcoming Ceremony. School music group gave a concert and dance performance for the guest with both Turkish and English songs.Teachers and students went to a guided tour around the host school. Teachers made a meeting about the process of Project and participants of the project introduced the results and the outcomes of the project.

The partners visited the Çorum Museum and a local Art Gallery to understand Cultural and historical heritages of the region, exchange of good practices in terms of curriculum, teaching and learning materials, some workshop activities.

In addition; the participants visited Alacahöyük, Bogazkale Museums and ruin places, and the guide gave knowledge about the places’ histories where the ancient capital city Hattusa of the Hittite Empire was situated. The historical and Cultural In the European context, the participants got to know local customs such as cooking, folklore dancing, making music, etc. and in order to know more about history

Our Art teachers and Orientation Department offered great possibilities for the development of capabilities and awareness of unity, mutual respect, tolerance, ethnic harmony and building up of the consciousness of the existence of the other using pottery and paper marbling. The participants thought that the activities were an innovative and educational outreach program featuring classical and contemporary works.

The participants were glad to visit Training Center for Disabled Children where the purpose is to provide special education to children with severe disabilities, in accordance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. The Centre was founded in an attempt to improve employment of people with disabilities. They loved pottery activities which express the creativity and make us connect to ourselves and the environment.

The participants also performed a “Play” and made Presentations about scientists or historical people growing up in disadvantageous areas

In addition to these, all participants said that they were happy to experience Turkish traditions and Turkey culture closely and they added that they enjoyed learning a country with the social practises,hospitality, belief and heritages of past.
