Czech Republic - Poděbrady

Partner schools from Iceland and Turkey (Corum and Afyon) came. Spanish team could t participate due to covid restrictions.

1st day

• Presentations of schools. Introduction of school, observing lessons.

• Reception by the mayor of Poděbrady.

• Teachers meeting.

• Poděbrady sightseeing tour.

2nd day

• Learning Czech traditional dance "Pletla kytku z rozmarynu". Decorating a classroom. Seeding in the greenhouse.

• Tour of the stable, garden, pigsty and other agricultural school areas.

• Picnic in the school garden - fire, herbal tea, sausages, bread.

3rd day

• Visit to Prague (by train).

• National Museum - The Miracles of Evolution, Windows into prehistory, Minerals and semi-precious stones. Czech modern history from the First World War to the Czech Republic’s accession to the European Union, Famous Czech Composers. (https://www.nm.cz/en/program/long-term-exhibitions)

• Individual sightseeing of the capital city.

4th day

• Visit to Čelákovice (by train).

• Cultural hall in Čelákovice - Presentation of local vocational schools.

• Traditional Czech lunch.

• Walking by the river Labe. Presentation of cultural dances, music and games.

5th day

• Writing reports and uploading videos on the project website, final evaluation. Virtual meeting with our friends from Afyon school.

• Discussing a movie “Beyond the Blackboard”.

• Certificate ceremony.

• Farewell lunch in Golfi hotel.
