School Smarts is a California State PTA's  signature program for building authentic family engagement in school.  We provided a seven-session program that equips parents and caregivers with the knowledge of the California school system, effective advocacy techniques for quality education, and strategies to develop strong family-school partnerships that enhance student success and school improvement. The program aims to try to create a relaxed environment where parents can learn from the program and each other's experiences while engaging in creative activities like handcrafting projects. At the end of the seven-sessions parents and caregivers will get a certificate of completion.
