Math Hair Cutting

The students have the opportunity to create facial features, while the teacher adds hair ( from post-it notes) to the figures. The interesting twist is that the teacher can then guide the students in cutting the hair down to match a specified amount from a math problem given by the teacher. It'll bring art into the math class.
