This is my Artifacts Page. Aka. My notes. These are the handcrafted notes that I worked on this whole semester up until this point. They are the lesson plans, artwork and other fun things that I've done during this class.
This was one the first times I made Textsets in class! It was a lot of fun and I was glad I did it.
Overall was a little confused on how to do this while I was doing it, but after I did it. It made sense. Fonts really do make the story sometimes. Such as how I picked Comfortaa as my font for my texts. It mades it more fun to read.
Mary saw the water cycle, water cycle, water cycle,
Mary saw the water cycle, it's a natural thing.
She saw the clouds up in the sky, up in the sky, up in the sky,
She saw the clouds up in the sky, and heard the song they sing.
Water, water, all around, all around, all around,
Water, water, all around, it's everywhere, you see.
Water, water, all around, all around, all around,
The water cycle's how it flows, from sky to land to sea.
This was a lot of fun, even if I had to to it alone it was still something I was to try in a classroom once I get into my own.
The only reason this is on here is because I hate it. Only because I can't fold paper right. I think this could be fun if only, I could fold right. But I think children would also find this hard to handle if they didn't know how to fold paper.
This made me think more deeply on the readings and how my group thought about the readings. I think the drawing made it more fun and it really combined the idea of being arts into the reading.
This was a lot of fun to think about and overall do. It made me think about children perspectives on a book. And how I can read a book to my class while also bring in more of a question based way of learning/thinking while reading the book to the kids.
This made me think about how to build friendships and a community within a class. This made me think of the friendship quilt that a class can do at the start of the year to show we are all different but we are in this together.
Doing this was a lot of fun because it brought to light that making a lesson plan isn't always scary. It can just be a small little thing. I hope. It also made me think about lessons that I did with my old teachers that I loved.
I'm counting this because it brought me a lot of joy doing it. I might not a really outgoing person when it comes to people I don't know. But It was a lot of fun and learning about how to do these types of things while also doing it in a fun way.
