Pitch vs. Volume

Activities from class

• Move bodies with hand up, on hips, or touching toes depending if the pitch is high, medium, or low

• Move hands together or apart depending if the sound was loud or quiet

• Explored multiple instruments and how to play different pitches and volumes with them.

• Practiced matching pitches by playing "Music Duck Duck Goose." Students sang "duck" along with a musical drone.

• Students played "Music Telephone." Sr. Davis sang a pattern in their ear and they had to pass it along to other students.
