What is the difference between OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS and UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS?
Transcripts that have been in the hands of the student such as student copy / unofficial transcripts are not considered official. They are often copies of an official transcript. Unofficial transcripts are printed on plain paper and do not have a college seal or registrar's signature.
Official Transcripts are sealed in an envelope with the Registrars official signature across the flap.
