The Semper Fidelis All-American Program recognizes high school students who face life’s battles with the conviction and determination to succeed. They have turned obstacles into victories through drive and passion and will be recognized for their achievements at the exclusive Battles Won Academy. Recognize high schools juniors who encompass the fighting spirit. These students embody the same fighting spirit that Marines stand for by taking on the challenges of succeeding academically while bettering their communities and excelling in athletics and extracurricular activities. This is an all-expense paid trip to Washington D.C. in July with the mentor of their choice, daily workouts, teambuilding events, tour of the Nation’s capital, network with an elite circle of speakers, and opportunities to apply for specific scholarships afterward.

The Marine Corps conducts the Summer Leadership and Character Development Academy (SLCDA) annually to create an immersive youth-character development and leadership program to help identify diverse and exceptionally qualified high school students who have the potential and desire to become future Marine Officers. The United States Marine Corps SLCDA is a six-day summer program at Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA designed to prepare rising high school juniors and seniors for college by introducing them to Marine Corps leadership skills, ethics, character development, teamwork, and camaraderie
