Free Tutoring Help for All Students!

The County of San Luis Obispo Public Libraries is now offering Brainfuse, a live, interactive internet-based program with help from thousands of tutors, all of whom have an educational background. Students from kindergarten through college have access to the program, which is available seven days a week from 1 – 10 PM. Students can receive help from tutors as soon as they log in.  The tutors are fluent in English and Spanish and fully background checked. Tutoring is available for most subjects and levels, including foreign languages and a 24 hour writing lab!

Brainfuse offers help in a variety of subjects and can even help with preparation for the SAT, GRE, LSAT, and MCAT tests. 

Library Cards for Teens 13- 17

Teens can use their current MIDDLE SCHOOL or HIGH SCHOOL student photo ID to obtain a library card. 

Parent/legal guardians are not required to be present for a teen to obtain a card.
