Excellence Standards
The Skills Builder Excellence Standards define what excellence looks like at an organisational level, unlike the Impact Level criteria which define what excellence looks like for a specific programme or provision.
There are three main strands within the Excellence Standards. These are Outreach, Recruitment, and Staff Development. Each of these strands include three standards, and nine best practice indicators. Ultimately, it is assessment against the indicators that will be used to assess whether an Excellence Mark has been achieved.
Here we are focussing solely on Staff Development: How can employers build their employees' employability by supporting them to develop their essential skills?
The Excellence Mark
The Excellence Mark is an organisation-wide accreditation, distinct from Impact Levels which are a form of programmatic accreditation.
We want to recognise and celebrate partners who are adopting the Skills Builder approach and embedding the Excellence Standards across their organisation. To help our partners to celebrate and promote their achievements, there are four levels:
Your Excellence Mark is assessed based on how many of the indicators you have achieved.
