FAQs

How long will it take to complete the Benchmarking tool?

The baseline assessments should be based on initial reflections. Some individuals will prefer to reflect on a particular focus skill, skill pairs or by revisiting the benchmarking tool for short periods at a time. Depending on your pace and preference, you might want to spend anything from 5 to 30 minutes at a time using the tool.

How often should I revisit the Benchmarking tool?

This will depend on your setting – for example, termly, every quarter or at the beginning/end of a project. However, it is important to have regular, meaningful reflection and time to develop and apply the essential skills you have identified as a focus.

Can I use my Benchmark login details to access Skills Builder Launchpad?

We encourage you to use the same login details for ease, however Skills Builder Launchpad is a separate platform so you will still need to register at skillsbuilder.org/launchpad.
