Design thinking is like any other new curriculum trend in that it is susceptible to oversimplification. Design thinking is worth the time invested to learn its implementation, and the mindsets that go with it so students experience it fully.

There are quite a few design thinking models out there. Interaction Design Foundation’s model emphasizes that the process is not linear and oftentimes requires going back and forth between different stages in the process.
