F3D 50th Reunion, Aug 2010, LA
The F3D LA-Mexico cruise on the Carnival Cruise Line took place in Aug of 2010 - F3D stands for Form 3D, a subgroup of WYK1960 who happened to be grouped together in Class D while going through Form 3 (1957-1958) and then graduated together in 1960. Somehow an especially strong bond developed, and the boys have been staying in contact all these years. In fact, it was this group who started the idea of having a 50th reunion in 2008 for their F3 days, which eventually evolved into a 50th reunion in 2010, for all of us.
As they say, the rest is history. This 50th get-together began what would be a string of reunions in almost every subsequent years, and we all owe a lot to these F3D boys.
The cruise took us from LA to Santa Catalina, then Ensenada MX, and back. The group photo was taken right after we landed in Ensenada. Believe it all not, this was my first time setting foot in Mexico after having lived in CA for over 40 years.
More photos are in this album.
