* 60th Anniversary "it is not to be"

As we all know, a planned 60th reunion which was to be a diamond anniversary around Nov 2020 was pre-empted by Covid19. We waited in 2021 for an opening, but alas no avail.

Below is a very thoughtful 2020 anniversary present prepared by Kwan Manwoo for us, complete with a photo album and a song.

Dear all,

2020 is a year never to forget. For us WYK old boys, this is also our 60th graduation Anniversary!

A year or two ago many of us were thinking of a grand reunion this autumn. With the current global crisis & the changing HK situation, this will not happen now.

Not forgetting this landmark occasion, I decided to take a stroll down memory lane with a visit to our Alma Mater in spite of the distancing restrictions. I took some pictures of the campus & compiled a google photo album with captions, including quite a number of shots from 2010. Hopefully, this will bring back some fond memories & treasurable moments, especially for those who managed to attend our Golden Jubilee Reunion & trip 10 years ago.

庚子甲子 六十週年

各位老同學，2020，難以忘懷的一年。還記得今年也正是一群雛燕離巢六十週年嗎？

韶華飛躍，有如白駒過隙，眨眼間中學畢業後已是一個甲子。人事變遷，滄海桑田，本應趁這機會在天涯海角歡聚鑚禧，慶祝一番。

可惜適逢庚子鼠年風雲變色，世界災殃，明珠蒙塵，關山難越，這個想法已成空中樓閣。

往事縈繞，難以釋懷，就算病毒限聚之下，都要回到當年度過青蔥歲月的校園，悠閑信步，到處走上一圈，拍下不少照片，加入註腳，合成影冊，再加上當年金禧盛會的紀念相片對照。蘭亭難再，梓澤丘墟，撫今追昔，希望能帶給各位同學的無限懷想思念！有言未盡，後會有期。
