Woodlands Golf Day

Eleven Woodlands golfers braved the sunny weather and winds of almost 6mph(!!) to compete in the Woodlands Golf Open at Hill Barn yesterday. It was the first competition post-Covid era, and was enthusiastically organised by club Treasurer, Dave Parr, in a Texas scramble format. The winning team was Dave Richardson, Charlie ('Seve') Usher and Brian and Tony Thair. The winning team is pictured on the 18th as they took their plaudits and another in the clubhouse having won a bottle of wine each. The third picture is Sandra Yee (looking very cool) contemplating her impending superb approach shot to the 15th green.
