Note that the dual-freq (LC) phase center is 4.589 cm below the top of the choke rings, but I will correct this with our test yesterday once I get to process the data.

PUQ ramp survey
NIEL base station
UAVJ is vehicle, 3vt2 and 3vyu are base stations
~1050(local) data on and moving
~1210(local) survey complete, still
~1300(local) data off
Antenna height measurements for the vehicle:
-New mag mount avionics antenna was placed on the roof of a compact station wagon
-Antenna height measurements were made to the very top of the antenna housing, with the vehicle
loaded as for the survey
-measured height between top of antenna housing and top of chokerings: 3.9 cm
-heights measured on PUQ ramp, with little noticeable slope
-pre-survey measurements: 168.7/169.5/169.0 cm passenger side / 170.2/170.8/170.9 cm driver side
-post-survey measurements: 170.9/170.9/170.6 cm driver side / 169.9/169.7/169.5 cm cm passenger side
-average pre-survey height: 169.85 cm
-average post-survey height: 170.25 cm
-overall average height: 170.05 cm
-overall average height to top of chokerings: 166.15 cm
We leveled the ground (3vt2/3vyu with Ashtech choke-ring, no cone) antenna with the vehicle-mounted
mag-mount choke-ring antenna (UAVJ) during the precal period. We used a tripod-mounted Bosch laser
level to measure height difference between the same physical points on both antennas. We found a
height difference of x.x cm, with the vehicle antenna being higher than the ground station antenna.
