Diving In!

The team has jumped into the project! We've started to do our research to develop ideas about how to accomplish our mission. Let's talk about what the team has been up to since our last post!

Since our last post, we've spoken with our sponsor, Fattoria Urbana Diffusa, about meeting with them on Skype, to discuss and better understand our objectives. This is super exciting! Additionally, we've started looking into sources that might help us best make use of our time in Venice. For example, we've looked at how green spaces are mapped in the UK, to utilize some of the same techniques in Venice. To help with our research, we reached out to WPI Librarian Laura Robinson, who helped us narrow down our research, as well as provided us with amazing resources to find more information. At our last meeting with our advisers, it became clear to the team that an app was a pivotal key to the success of our project. For some guidance, we reached out to Nicola Musolino, a team collaborator, to help us understand the app development tool box, before getting started on the app.
