We’re on the right track!
This week was much busier than last week because we took a big step forward with our project. Our first proposal draft had to be finished by Monday at midnight and, although it was a hard deadline to meet, we achieved it! Since we got comments and feedback on the first draft of our introduction that disheartened us all, we spent the whole weekend and over ten hours on Monday brainstorming and rewriting our introduction chapter. Meanwhile, the slideless presentation helped us write the introduction by forcing us to think critically and express our ideas logically. Hopefully, we can get more positive feedback on our new introduction chapter.
We also did individual and team evaluations to figure out what has been working well so far and what needs to be worked on. We reached the conclusion that team commitment is something we all need to work on. The evaluation helped us think, reflect, and improve. Just like the feedback from Professor Tuler, some comments may disappoint us, but we aren’t afraid because it will make us stronger and improve our proposal as well!!
The most exciting thing for this week was that we were able to access the data on stores that has been collected over the years by other WPI groups. We have started compiling and analyzing it. Let’s look forward to all of the interesting facts we will discover from the data!!
Some of the data we have collected so far.
