This spatial data infrastructure (geoportal) includes point geospatial data related to several art and cultural activities (e.g., cinemas, theaters, art centers, museums, art galleries, and archaeological sites) in the region of Attica. The development of this geoportal is based on the exclusive use of open geospatial data and Free Software/Open Source Software (FOSS) technologies. The geospatial data hosted on the geoportal has been collected from the OpenStreetMap (OSM) platform through the Geofabrik service. The graphical user interface provides users with accessibility tools that allow them to plan routes based on desired distances and travel times.
