A successful shopping trip to PC World!
The Dell Server required PC 4200 memory at 533Mhz, however PC World only sold 677Mhz. As a result I removed the 2Gb of RAM currently in the server and replaced it with 4Gb (x2 2Gb) 677Mhz Memory to ensure compatibility.
The memory upgrade has helped somewhat however Windows Server 2012 is still using up most of the available memory. I have decided to change tactics and attempt to build a LAMP Server. A LAMP server stands for Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP. These are all free to use products that require less hardware resources than windows.
I have chosen to install Ubuntu, based on my research checking out YouTube videos. I will try this and setup the Router next weekend.
