The feature comparison is designed to compare and extract features for the researched IAM tools against the goals for the User Guardian project. The following tables will provide a feature list for the development where the most desirable features can be selected for inclusion in the application requirements.
Table 11 shows the features of the researched IAM tools. This table has been divided into three main functionality areas to simplify the analysis. These are all features gathered from software review forms in Section 2.8.2.

Table 12 uses the information given in Table 11 and shows a summary of the common and unique features.

Table 13 compares the common and unique features from the researched IAM tools against the goals of the project. The purpose of the table is to narrow the development scope for feature inclusion, and is to be used as a gap analysis to decide if additional features are required to meet a goal.
The following features in red have been excluded as they do not offer a direct benefit towards the goals of User Guardian.

The security of data within the tool does not have a feature against it. A new feature will need to be included into the user requirements separately.
