College Experiences
I have had a great 4 years at UMIT. Most of my good memories were as the General Secretary of the institution, the experiences of which are recorded in the annual magazine. The teachers were fun and understanding and so were the seniors and juniors alike.
I had joined UMIT because of the reputation that SNDT University held. It was a challenge in the beginning, acclimatizing to a girl’s only university, but i later realized that it had its own advantages. Firstly being that you did everything on your own right from the physically challenging to the mentally challenging work! And the other that one becomes more self-confident to take on the world.
I think there were times when I felt that my decision to join UMIT was bad, but it was only when I wasn’t trying enough. The key to making even a bad decision good is by utilizing all opportunities that come your way and even by opening some doors yourself. So whenever in doubt, don’t just brood over it, think what can be done to overcome that part.
Because of the distances (as I am currently based in Sydney), I think I can counsel the students via email about career opportunities, getting through GMAT, what MBA is best for you...etc etc...
