Barnes & Mullins Champion

I suspected, but didn't know for sure until I invited it, that this was made by Mitsuba Gakki in the 1960's for Barnes &Mullins and apart from the inner label it is pretty much identical to my Clover. Confirming this was one of the reasons I invited it.

The other was that I am a fan of Barnes & Mullins with their long history and the story of them starting out, first as Banjo performers, then starting a Banjo magazine and then starting a Banjo workshop in Bournemouth, (of all places), to capitalize on the "free" advertising in the magazine.
