January General Meeting Recap:
For 2026, the board is focused on growing our membership. We believe that by attracting new members and encouraging active participation from our current members, we can strengthen our organization. These are some of the initiatives that we’ve already been working on for the year.
The board decided to lower our initiation fee and membership fee. Yes, that’s right! In order to grow our membership, we lowered the initiation fee to $25, and to lessen the financial burden on our current members, we lowered the annual membership fee to just $10! We are also making lower rates for seniors and students.
We also hosted special guests from the Taipei Economic Office in Honolulu Vice Consul Austin Li Chung Gang. As well as Ming Bao and Ni Zhang of the Center of Chinese Studies.
Coming Events:
Night in Chinatown, Friday, 5:30 p.m., 2/13/2026 - Come by the clubhouse! We’ll have
firecrackers going off, with a Lion Dance Group and the Narcissus Court stopping by. Here are some pictures from past celebrations. Food is potluck, so bring your favorite dish to share.
