Setting echo

This subVI sets echo. Upon execution of this command, the modem returns each received character from the computer and additionally sends its respond. Figure 1 shows the block diagram of the set echo subVI.

If the answer of GSM modem is <CR> <LF> OK <CR> <LF> subVI returns the correct status. Otherwise, the error flag is set and the next subvIs that communicate with the GSM modem will not be executed. In this way there is proof that each sent command is correctly executed.
