The sand is soaked,
the grass,
the dirt,
the trees,
all drenched.
The waters run red,
and muddled,
like before,
and will continue to be.
I have to watch all of it.
The innocent,
guilty,
children,
elderly,
none will stand.
Lands will divide,
families crumble,
governments crash,
and burn,
blame misplaced.
Beliefs will shatter,
shake,
implode.
New beliefs will try to take hold,
but in vain.
It is too late.
Most will die,
this is certain –
enlightenment is the only victim.
