River of Death

Floating,

spinning,

lying,

waiting,

comfortably in the river of life.

Whirling,

twirling,

swirling,

sinking,

into the river of unconsciousness.

Warning,

rapids ahead,

dark waters forming,

thrashing violently,

in the river of darkness.

Trees are darker,

shadows dancing,

slowly trancing,

deep in the river of nightmares.

Coldness coming,

stillness forming,

eyes are closing,

trapped in the river of death.
