(Notes from an old research journal. There are careful sketches of three dragons along with the notes.)
The being that made the air we breathe spirals through the sky with two smaller figures circling around it like kites. I watch, intent and curious, to see the titan of air and its assistants at rest. I see a family playing in the clouds. I see a creator taking a break from its hard work of monitoring the sky. I think about what the dancing woman and her friend said about even gods needing to understand life and I smile. The serpent-like being gathers a cloud with its long body and the small ones work with it, molding it into a castle of clouds with peaks and spires like the icicles I've seen in snowy caves. It's a beautiful scene to watch and my heart feels light as I lean back in the grass and enjoy their work.
