It was backstage at Radio City Music Hall that the theatre bug  bit Michele.  Something about that dim light on the brick wall and paint splattered floor called to her.  So it was that her goals for college were to walk on the stage and enter a door that read "Performers Only."  When she realized how easy that was, she had to set her goals a little higher.  She earned an MA in Dramatic Prodcution from Bob Jones University, where she also learned to make wigs.  Wig making took her to the monstrosity of biblical musical theatre in Lancaster, PA - 450 hairpieces in one show!  From there, she came back to Greenville to make costumes for an educational television project.  Then, she spent five years in the acting role of a lifetime: an elementary school teacher.  There is nothing more exciting than seeing third graders fall in love with Shakespeare.  In addition to the Globe, she has been seen on the stages of The Warehouse Theatre, Centre Stage and Greenville Little Theatre's Studio 444.  Her favorite roles have been Snug the Joiner in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing and The Tailor in Taming of the Shrew - yeah, she likes Bill.  While she'll do just about anything the theatre needs her to do (except lighting and sound design - she's really not good at that), she has had the most fun directing things like I Love You Because.  Improv still scares her, but in a good way!
