Jared Johnson

Let's get one thing straight... I'm from Florida.  What did you think I was going to say?  Shortly after realizing he would never be a soccer super star, a dream that was realized after 3 years of Junior Varsity, Jared decided to move on to a much more exciting past time by getting involved in theatre.  After a few small roles in high school productions in Jacksonville, FL, he made his way to Greenville via Furman University where he was a part of Improv!able Cause - an AMAZING improv group that was featured at the Dirty South Improv Festival back in 2003.  Since then, he has just been getting started in Greenville theatre.  He played a big, gay-ass rat (or "Handsome Rat" as he was officially named) in Not Even a Mouse, Master Fenton/Pistol in The Merry Wives of Windsor Claudio in Much Ado About Nothing and Simon in Hay Fever.  He has also gotten to fill in for Traysie over at The Cafe and Then Some, for one of the most fun shows he has ever done!  He's also been a part of Three Men on a Horse at Greenville Little Theatre, where he also played Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet.  He's also recently been seen as Donner in The Eight: Reindeer Monologues as part of the late night On the Edge series at The Warehouse Theatre and in The Peanutcracker at The Cafe and Then Some. 

By day, I get to be a big ol' geek being a marketing analyst at a local downtown bank... whatever pays the bills!
