Windows Updates

Update settings page has been moved from Control Panel to the RT style Settings page.

Disable Automatic Updates

• 1. AUOption value must be set to 1 from Registry Editor to stop automatic checking of update

  2. Group Policy Editor no longer provides the value 1 for automatic updates setting

  3. Verify from the Settings page that update option states "never check for update" and is grayed out
