Windows 10 has a hybrid system that runs both NT and RT software. Because of that, it has a number of screens that are duplicates such as settings items that appear both in "Settings" that uses RT screen and in "Control Panel" that uses NT window. However, it is important to note that "Windows Update" has been completely removed from "Action Center", which is now called "Security and Maintenance" in the Control Panel, and has been made available only in the Settings.
NOTE 1: Windows 10 will often cause BSOD upon installation within a few days. Most frequently, it is caused by an error associated with WDFilter.sys (Windows Defender Filter system file) when WinDefender experience conflicts with certain programs that uses internet connection such as online file storage access programs, online communication programs, and automatic software updaters for various user installed programs.
NOTE 2: Windows Update is no longer available in Control Panel. While it can still be configured through GPEdit, it is often ignored. However, Windows Update can be configured effectively through RegEdit.
