*NOTE: the real version numbers for the Windows series OS are different from the conventional version numbers. For example, version number for Windows Vista was 6.0 and version number for 7 was 6.1. Microsoft posted on its website that Windows version number will be boosted from 6.5 to 10 to match the product name for Windows 10. Here, I am calling Windows Vista and its updates the version 6.x, calling Windows 7 and its updates the version 7.x, calling Windows 8 and 8.1 the version 8.x; so it would be easier for me to know which windows I am dealing with in each log.
