Teacher presentations

In this section some TeCoLa teachers present their experiences with telecollaboration.


A pre-vocational school from the Netherlands (Pleincollege Nuenen) and a mainstream secondary school in France (Collège Katia et Maurice Krafft, Pfastatt) engaged in telecollaboration sessions using the TeCoLa Virtual City of Saarburg. It was an ambitious project in which all classrroom learners participated in international dyads from December 2018 to May 2019 to develop their intercultural and communicative competences in German, a foreign language to all of them. Here the Dutch teacher, Bart Pardoel presents his experience.



Miranda Renders, a secondary school teacher of Spanish in the Netherlands, carried out several telecollaboration sessions with two secondary schools in Spain using different interactive tools. Listen to her presentation at the Utrecht Seminar.



Corien Van den Broek-Lammers, a secondary school teacher of English in the Netherlands (Varendonck College, Asten) presents the experiences with telecollaboration between her learners and peers from Germany (Leibniz-Gymnasium, Rottweil) using English as a Lingua Franca.



Óscar Balseiro, a primary school teacher of Spanish in London (UK) presents the telecollaboration exeriences of his learners interacting with Spanish primary school children, both in English and in Spanish, using different interaction tools.
