Information:

This page will give you some basic information on drawing application that you will be using in years 9 and 10 Industrial Technology - Graphics. 

Below is a list of the tools used in Sketchup and links to files and information explain how to use each of the tools. There are also some links to helpful was of using Sketchup to create your drawings in class.

Layers:

I have used a variety of resources to try to make the resources more interesting. some of the videos are better then others and explain the concept in more detail or clearer. The videos that I think are the best come from:

• SketchUpVideos

• Harwood Podcasts (very detailed although a little long).

• SketchUp KnowledgeBase (although this is just written instruction, no video explanation).

Classwork:

Using Sketchup draw all the objects from the booklet of 20 images and then compare them to the freehand sketches you completed of each image. I have included some tips on how to complete a couple of the drawings if you need assistance.
