This type of drawing style attempts to represent objects in the manner that we as humans see the item. Drawings in perspective have one or two vanishing points which the edges of an object lead off to and meet.
An example of perspective is when you look at train lines in the distance they appear to meet or come together yet in reality we know that this is not the case.
