Sweven Volant, Postalatry, 365XN, The Most Important Thing
IT CRACKS ME UP that almost none of these places exist anymore. I deleted that Twitter account; Tumblr was bought by Oath/Verizon, asphyxiated with puritanical censorship policy, then sold to Yahoo for a fraction of what they paid for it; and Jux and Extendr simply crashed.
Sweven Volant and Postalatry exist as archives; 365XN and The Most Important Thing, my two travel blogs, were taken down.
Now I keep a writing blog at CWWilkie, which also covers travel, and I started DPRKness to keep track of North Korea but I haven't done anything with that in years.
200810: Classic Google Sites is shuttering, so I was prompted to convert my old site into the new model. I see that most of my archived links are dead, but I'm keeping them as a record of what was cool 15 or 20 years ago. Currently building a list of new, cool links to keep track of, though it will lack the spirit of when the internet was fresh and untrammeled.
