Introduction
The Fawn River begins in Steuben County Indiana and enters the St. Joe River in Constantine, MI after running along the statelines of Indiana and Michigan for about 60 miles. The Fawn offers some very pretty flat water paddling through nice marshy areas where the river and sky seem to open up wide inviting all the colors, smells, sounds and sites of the river riparian. There are also wooded areas and unfortunately many road crossings.
