Cabin History‎ > ‎

Buddy McClure laid most of the oak flooring in the new family room.

The transition from the family room to the original cabin came out better than we expected, because we built the new family room about 1-1/2 inches too low. So you have to walk uphill to get into the new cabin.

Lots of fairly heavy equipment was used to get the oak flat and smooth.

Then it was time to spread three coats of finish, which made the floors look warmer and shiney.
