The Solo v6 is an extension of the core Solo system. It has all the features of the v5.4 and adds two new panel switches and a smart multi-FX module with a touchscreen and BLE Bluetooth control.

One new switch provides "warmth" to the clean channel. A novel FET circuit provides two levels of subtle and smooth asymmetric distortion that warm up the clean tone with some even harmonics.

Analog spring reverb and digital-delay-based reverb operate in 4 modes. Both reverbs are simultaneously usable and mixable for a variety of rich reverb tones. The spring signal can even feed the digital module and both can be modulated by a tremolo effect.

Three modes of Compression are available. A familiar mode allows manual settings of threshold and compression parameters. An automatic mode tracks the guitar signal to dynamically vary these parameters to produce a consistent compression as guitar levels change for example, from chords to notes. A slow attack mode provides suppression of the pick attack to produce keyboard-like tones and chords.

A 4 inch touch screen and encoder knob enables setup of the effects and their parameter. Settings can be saved or recalled. The display always shows all the effects and parameters that are active at any time. Nothing is behind menus or hidden. A glance at the display always reveals everything about the current tone.
