1st Printing Corrections (6/18/20):

p18 first paragraph, last sentence:

It is clear that there are many examples of input stages that lead to amplifiers with perceived good tone.

p65 last sentence:

There is no possibility of chassis-currents or ground-loops with this arrangement, so the amp is quiet and hum-free.

p146 Figure E.3:

The numbering from E.3 to E.6 should be E.4 to E.7. The label "E.3" is repeated, so the figures in the remainder of the section are off by one.

Solo 100 Version 4.3 including SoloVerb 3

A new version of the Solo 100 includes additional user controls and spring reverb in a head cabinet configuration. A new page describing this amp is found here.

New: Solo v4.3 amp with reverb and tremolo as built by others

This beautiful version of the amp was built by David Anderson. It includes a new SoloTrem card that provides two types of tremolo: Amplitude Modulation (AM) and Harmonic Modulation (HM).

David also designed a custom 4x8 cab that matches the head.

This beauty was built by Charlie Campbell. It also includes a SoloTrem card that provides Amplitude Modulation (AM) and Harmonic Modulation (HM) tremolo. Charlie's amp sports a maple cabinet in a very compact design.
