Synopsis:
Come join us for an exciting series of one act plays: our high school competition play, our middle school one act, and 4 student-written and student-directed skits.
"The Price" by Don Zolidis (high school competition play) - this powerful drama, adapted from a fairy tale by Hans Christian Anderson, tells the story of a mother who sacrifices everything to save the life of her child.
"Every Novel You Read in High School (in 25 minutes or less)" by Ian McWethy (middle school one act) - a hilarious send-up of the high school literary canon.
4 student-written, student-directed skits:
"All In" by Tre Allen - Two gambling addiction prevention "experts" take a person to the casino to cure his gambling addiction where they meet the evil Mr. Greenz.
"The Bar at the End of Time" by Harrison Schille - Jake takes things too far and meets a bartender who is not what he seems.
"Ghost Hunting (Gone Wrong)" by Chloe Anderson-Moore - Sarah is a ghost just minding her own business when a group of kids comes to her cemetery looking for ghosts.
"This is It, Right?" by Sydney Williams - a struggling TV producer is hoping to make their big break with a documentary about Todd the food eating champion.
