Campy, thriller fun for the whole family in this riveting retelling of a classic monster story! Frankenstein 1930 is inspired by the iconic 1931 Boris Karloff film, that was itself inspired by the famous novel by Mary Shelley first published in 1818.

In his quest for the secret of life, Dr. Victor Frankenstein, with the help of his demented assistant Igor, creates a monster of unparalleled evil and destructiveness. Meanwhile, Victor's best friend, Henry, is back in town and romantic sparks are flying between him and Victor's fiancee, the lovely Elizabeth. To complicate matters further, Victor's old professor, Dr. Hellstrom, is also in town, and he has bad news about Dr. Frankenstein's experiments. Once the monster is awakened the horror and the thrills really begin.

Will Victor stop the monster before it kills again? Will Igor ever find a friend? Will Dr. Hellstrom manage to undo the evils wrought by his former student? Will Henry ever get his chance at true love? Will Elizabeth find happiness with a man who lives for his (rather gruesome) work? Find out when you come to watch South St. Paul Secondary School's production of Frankenstein 1930.
