FINAL TASK
ADAPTING Macbeth
Let’s do a video of ACT IV, scene I (The witches)
Genre: horror / comedy movie
We will allow addition or removal of characters, adaptation of the dialogues, different settings or costumes, different times, but no major change in the plot.
A- Write down a draft describing the setting, the characters (with details), music, sound effects.
Will you need a voice over? Do you want to add explanations (character looking at the camera and talking to the viewer, or using a narrator)
B- Write down the script: actions and dialogues.
C- Story board: divide the scene into shots, choose the angles, the special effects you want to use. It is important you do this part well for the editing after the shooting (pour le montage)
D- Repetitions: Who is who? Choose the parts. Learn your text by heart, practice the actions
E- Shooting: make sure you have a script boy or girl (someone who will make sure the transitions are ok) + a cameraman (or woman)
F- After the editing, make sure your scene is clear and understandable for others
