2023 Fall Intern Class

This fall, our intern class is based in Russelville, AL. Our four interns are participating in hybrid class this season, that includes online lectures and a monthly in-person lab day.

2023 Spring Intern Class

In February, our spring intern class attended a hands-on seminar, "Soils and Composting" with regional extension agent Jayne Luetzow.

On a tour of Stayton Farms U-Pick Blueberries, our intern class received some first-hand expertise on growing blueberries.

Our 2023 intern class and fellow Master Gardeners toured the University of North Alabama campus with extension agent Jayne Luetzow for a first-hand look at landscaping maintenance and plant damage identification.

On May 11, our spring interns received their classroom certification following an impressive round of final presentations to a group of Shoals Master Gardeners. We look forward to welcoming them as full members this fall!
