Project Objectives:
Students will be able to learn about the artist and work of M.C. Escher.
Students will be able to use measurement to divide their paper into four equal parts.
Students will be able to proportionally transform one object into another using graphite pencils.
Students will be able to develop their images by using a complete range of values. Attention will be given to line, shape and form.
Students learned to think differently, or outside the box, when morphing two objects. The project began by introducing the students to artists such as Escher and Dali, and then they viewed the work of other students. The hardest part of the project for most students seemed to be choosing the two objects to morph. Once they got started, they did a great job.
