Semester 1

The Art 1 and 3D Design students at Southern Hills have created some fantastic artwork this year. Please view their work that is displayed on a rotating basis throughout the school.

Projects during the first semester have reinforced the teaching of the Elements of Art and the Principles of Design. Drawing, painting, color theory and three-dimensional projects have all been explored. Projects have been designed to build upon one another so that students can use prior knowledge that contributes towards success in education.
